Kettle Reboilers

Kettle reboilers are used in services where 20% to 100% boil-up is required. The enlarged outer shell provides a seperation between the boiling fluid and the exit nozzle reducing the amount of liquid entrainment in the exiting vapor stream. In cases where the amount of liquid entrainment must be minimal, Bos-Hatten can provide a unit with a demister pad inside the shell. In lieu of providing a larger diameter shell, Bos-Hatten can also provide a separate tank, bolted or welded to the top of the exchanger, for vapor/liquid separation.

As with all Bos-Hatten units, both thermal and mechanical guarantees are provided. Units are designed to ASME Section VIII, Div 1, API specifications, and customer supplied specifications.
